VR27 - Electric (EV) and Hybrid Vehicle Awareness

Description

VR27 is aimed at sectors of the rescue and recovery industry who are involved in the movement of high voltage vehicles and need an understanding of the specific requirements for the safe handling of such vehicles during transportation/recovery or minor repairs at the roadside. It will provide the student with a basic overview of hybrid and electric vehicles (EV) and the health and safety requirements, as it affects them in their job role. It is not about an in depth knowledge of Health and Safety legislation or workshop repairs to these vehicles but aims to provide the knowledge required to comply with the legislation and operate safely when dealing with hybrid and electric (EV) vehicles.
