VR28 - Multi-Deck Transporter

VR28 is about using multi deck vehicle transporters when carrying out routine collection and deliveries of cars, car derived vans and light commercial vehicles.  This module covers the safety requirements associated with the use of multi deck vehicle transporters.

• The performance features of a multi deck vehicle transporter including axle and deck loadings
• Procedures for loading and unloading including the driving on and securing of a casualty vehicle and any potential hazards
• Practical use of the appropriate safety devices associated with working with multi-deck transporters.
