The Jack Ovenden Award for 'Outstanding Student of the Year' 2019

Nominations for this prestigious annual award are now being invited, the accolade recognises students who have not only excelled in training but who have the potential to be good ambassadors and potential role models for those looking to enter the industry.

The award is administered by the Rescue and Recovery Trainers Association (RRTA), on behalf of the IVR. Trainers do not have to be a member of RRTA in order to nominate one of their students but the criteria remains the same as in previous years. Trainers are asked to submit the name and details of the student they are nominating and give a brief overview of why they feel they deserve to be considered.

For more information, confirmation of the closing date or to submit a nomination please contact Sean Buckley FIVR, chairman of the RRTA, at or the IVR office
